MUMBAI: The police received a terror alert warning them that the Pakistan-based terror outfit,
Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) may target Mumbai's domestic and international airports. The intelligence alert, received on Wednesday, said: "The LeT may try to organize terror hit at airports."
It did not specify the number of operatives who may be involved in the attack. Police, crime branch and ATS officials have been asked to beef up security not only at airports but also at other targets.
"All we can do is be on high alert.
These reports are 'non actionable'," said a senior police official.
